Utopiat Shipping & Delivery Policy
Comprehensive Policy
At Utopiat, we do our best to ensure every order arrives safely and on time. Once your
package leaves our facility, it is transferred to the care of the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.), and tracking updates are provided automatically. Please read the following terms carefully to understand how shipping issues are handled.
1. Carrier Responsibility After Shipment
Once an order is accepted and scanned by the carrier, delivery is the responsibility of that carrier. Utopiat is not liable for delays, lost packages, stolen parcels, or delivery errors caused by the carrier or by incomplete or inaccurate addresses provided at checkout. If your package shows as delivered but you did not receive it, please contact the carrier directly to open a claim. We’re happy to help guide you through that process but cannot reimburse or replace an order until the carrier’s investigation is complete.
2. Undeliverable or Returned Packages
If USPS or another carrier marks a shipment as “No Such Address,” “Insufficient Address,” or “Undeliverable,” the package will typically be returned to us.
If the address provided at checkout was accurate and complete, we can reship the order once, at no additional charge, or issue a refund minus the original shipping cost. If the
address was inaccurate, incomplete, or missing required details, the customer is responsible for all re-shipping fees. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
If the carrier fails to return the package, we will assist you in filing a lost-mail claim with the carrier.
3. Lost, Delayed, or Misdelivered Shipments
If your package appears lost or delayed, verify the address and tracking history, contact the carrier to open a Missing Mail request, and notify us at customer@utopiat.com with your tracking number. We will provide any documentation needed to support your claim.
4. Damaged Items in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please email photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label within 7 days of delivery to customer@utopiat.com. We’ll assist in filing a damage claim and issue a replacement or refund once validated.
5. Customer Responsibility for Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping information at checkout. We cannot modify addresses once an order has been shipped. Any costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses, or forwarding errors, are the customer’s responsibility.
6. Reimbursement from Carriers
If a package is returned, lost, or marked as undeliverable due to a verified carrier error,
Utopiat will work with the carrier to recover postage costs. If reimbursement is received, we’ll pass any applicable refund or credit to you.
